We Are Loaded Edit

Loaded Edit was born in Amsterdam for a reason. This city has always made room for the gay life: unfiltered, curious, and completely without apology. We built this magazine because every publication aimed at gay men was either sanitised for mainstream comfort or frozen in a 2005 loop of abs and cocktail hour. We wanted something sharper. An editorial voice that speaks to gay men the way a brilliant, sex-positive friend would: honestly, with wit, and without ever assuming you need protecting from yourself. That voice is Loaded Edit.

We cover five things and we cover them properly: cruising culture, gay travel, sexual health, culture, and lifestyle. Not as separate departments with separate agendas, but as one coherent life: the life of a gay man who is sexually confident, politically awake, and done being spoken to like he’s a liability. We don’t write about cruising like it’s a guilty pleasure. We don’t write about sex and health like a public health campaign. We write like adults, for adults, about a life worth living on your own terms.

Loaded Edit is for gay and bisexual men between 22 and 42 who know who they are. You’ve realised the world wasn’t designed for you and you’ve stopped waiting for it to catch up. You want to know where to cruise in Lisbon. Which hotels actually understand a queer guest. What the new wave of queer nightlife looks like and why it matters culturally. You want opinions, context, and a point of view. Not content. Not sponsored positivity. We are exactly that.
